Mexico, with its 93+ species and varieties of conifers, has been a very special place for any conifer explorer. Sufficient amount of time, good vehicles and helpful guides, adequate funds and lots of hiking are needed to make sure that all (or all the most important) conifer taxa can be visited in their native habitats.
